ASHRAE is soliciting your recommendations for Officer and Director candidates for terms beginning in July 2025.  This request is intended to be consistent with the overriding consideration that “the office seeks the person”, as stated in the Rules of the Board.

The Officer and Director vacancies to be filled for Society year 2025-26 Society Year include the following:

• President-Elect
• Treasurer
• 2 Vice Presidents: The term of this office will be for 2 years (Society Year 2025-26 and 2026-27), per section 5.1 of the ASHRAE bylaws as amended in 2022.)
• Director-at-Large: 3

(Since the candidates for Director and Regional Chair (DRC) come from the CRCs, these positions are not included in the above list.)

Feel free to suggest more than one name for each position. Please add your comments on each candidate you recommend in the “Comments” column.  These are important and valued by the committee.

Please note:

2. The Nominating Committee requests that you verify with each member whose name you submit whether he or she is willing to serve, if elected, before submitting the member’s name.
3. An individual cannot serve on the Nominating Committee and simultaneously be a candidate for Officer or Director. Consequently, it is imperative that your nominees who are members of the 2024-25 Nominating Committee be contacted as soon as possible so they can decide prior to the fall Nominating Committee meeting whether to remain on the committee or move forward as a possible nominee for Society office.
