Submit Nominations for Board-Elected Positions

2025-26

The Deadline is Friday, September 20, 2024

The Board of Directors will elect members to the below councils and standing committees for the 2025-26 Society year.

  • Standards Committee
  • Research Administration Committee
  • Technical Activities Committee
  • Handbook Committee
  • Nominating Committee
  • Scholarship Trustees - Candidates being considered for Scholarship Trustees shall have the experience, educational background and technical knowledge to properly evaluate the scholastic potential of all scholarship applicants.  The term of service is three years.  A Trustee may be re-elected to serve a second term of three years.  An elected Trustee may not simultaneously be a member of the Board of Directors.  

Results of the election will be confirmed at the 2025 Winter Conference for terms beginning July 2025. Those who are elected will be notified in March 2025.

We ask that you verify with each candidate that they are willing to serve if elected before submitting their name. All information you submit will remain confidential.  Job descriptions for the committees are located at the following link: Job Descriptions

(Once reaching the link, you will then need to search (Ctrl +F) the PDF for the standing body in which you would like more information. Full committee names should be used when searching)

Please add your comments regarding each candidate you recommend while providing additional insight as to why your candidate is well qualified to serve on the particular committee.  Please nominate yourself if you would like to be considered to serve, or if you are rotating off a committee and would like another assignment. 

NOTE: Except in special circumstances, it is preferable for a member to serve on only one council or Society standing committee or on a council and up to one Society standing committee at a time.
